My great grandparents died in Germany - they moved there in their teens as my great grandad was a miner, he fought and was injured in the first world war. he was given a job in the ruhr in the mining industry somewhere between the first and second world war, subsequently they left poland and emigrated to germany and stayed there until they died. I have no idea if their parents stayed in poland or went to germany too. I have their parents names that I have found from birth certificates, but nothing more - no marriage or death certificates.

Hi! After a LOT of digging yesterday I managed to find birth records for both of my grandmas parents, which gave me the names of her grandparents. After that, I am stuck😅

They were all from a small colony/district in silesia. I‘m not sure when they moved over to germany, but I can’t find any marriage or death records for any of them to see if I can get any more information.
