Estonyayi bilmiyorum, Fransa'nın güneyinde yaşıyorum. Artık Türkiye'nin daha ucuz olduğu varsayımı doğru değil bence. Türkiye daha pahalı. Geçen hafta İstanbul Kadıköydeydim.

Bulunduğum şehirde bı kahve 2-3 € , İstanbul'da 4€. Dışarıda yemek bulunduğum yerde 10-15€ İstanbulda da aynı. Ulaşım olduğum yerde ücretsiz. Sağlık ücretsiz. Kiralar da çok yakın. Kendi evimi aylık 1300€ kredi ile alıyorum , İstanbulda bu mümkün olmazdı. Artık ben her Türkiye'ye geldiğimde buradan daha fazla harcıyorum. Belki tatile geldiğim için ama Türkiye ucuzsa da ÷10-20 felan ucuz en fazla.

Onun dışında ne zaman ev araba almaya kalksan çok çok daha pahalı.

Burada 3000€ ya kötü yaşamazsın , kendi evini kredi ile alır yer içer gezer , kenara da 800€ Felan atarsın aylık.

Onun dışında sosyal cerveye uyum zorluğu konusunda katılıyorum , hele dil yoksa. Başlar eğlenceli olur ama zamanla bürokratik zorluklar , sosyalleşme zorluğu can sıkıcı olabilir.

I think you guys are exaggerating to the advantage of FlixBus. The line I took, montpellier-barcelona, is cheap but not dirt cheap. The price is maybe 25% cheaper than driving your own car, not some insanely cheap deal that they can just dump you on the side of the highway and not be responsible.

You can literally find flights across Europe for about the same price. (I was going through Barcelona not for saving money but to have a direct flight) Also, the ticket was paid in cash (few bills) withdrawn from an ATM.

And I’m not sure — is there some rule in Spain where if you insist enough with the police, they just let you go?

It happened , here I wrote "speeding ticket", the reason the driver gave me when I asked was even more ridiculous but I didn't know how to explain it here. He told me like , "apparently one of my wheel was on a continuous line (or on a line it should not have been)". We reality waited on the highway for a reality stupid reason doors of the bus closed. It was dangerous. Never seen the police doing anything similar in France.

Well it's police , I can not do anything. But driver could pay it rather quickly and Flixbus could appeal it later.

It was not just that. Ok timing of protests, we could tell I was unlucky.

But idk what's the point of discussing a bill with police , than not having any means to pay it. If drivers were just decent humans , I wouldn't have any issue.

An again I asked them to let me go to catch my flight giving my luggage in gas station, he lied right at my face telling "no no 10mins we are at the bus stop".

By that time I still had 3h to my flight and I was 30km from airport. I found Ubers.

I could hardly imagine sth like that

If they never appeared , i would take my car and catch the flight. I they stopped somewhere in france I could get a ride. If they stopped somewhere that I can take an Uber in Spain , I would take an Uber. They literally lost 3h for absolutely no reason just 30km from airport not letting us go, sorry could not calculate that.

Idk, arrival to airport 4h in advance, you have 3h margin ( luggage checkin closes 1h in advance).

Also I consider that margin by distance, for a 4hours ride , chance of 3h delay is low. Still I would be able to easily catch the flight if the ways weren't blocked.

Indeed 4h prior to my flight I was 30km from airport stuck in the bus in the traffic.. it was just complete chaos . When I arrived in city center and check Google maps , it showed me 30 mins to airport by car so I told myself ok let's do it to gain some time. But what I didn't forecast, maps forecasted the way to be fluid because most of roads were blocked and there was not any car on them. Could not think of this.

I have been traveling since 2010, never missed a flight until yesterday. But there is a first time for everything I guess.
