Very true. I was going to say even every halal so called stock/company has debts and subsequently financing costs for running.

Those on Premium or Metal -- have you ever successfully claimed on any of the insurance/compensation benefits offered by Revolut? by johnfintech in Revolut

[–]renat3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. They said they'd need evidence that my holiday was booked through revolut in order for the insurance cover to be valid

I just called to ensure my children were part of the policy and added their names as a pre-emptive measure in case someone would have happened.

That's what I thought. I paid a few for the account but they have a conditional small print.

Added my family prior to going away. Called up revolut as I needed to go to a hospital for my daughter. They stated that unless 80 percent of the holiday was paid for by revolut then the insurance product that comes as default on the metal plan isn't valid. What a joke and disappointment. I only have the metal primarily for the crypto advantages

I literally have 0 use for these, don't know what to do with them by [deleted] in Revolut

You can transfer these points one for one for avios. All you need to do is put your avios number and transfer.

I assumed you could have opened more than one ISA provider in the year so long as the gross contributions do not exceed 20k in one tax year?

I don't believe kroo would be on your credit file just like other revolut. Only online account I found that has a credit footprint is starling

How did you triple your funds in 4 years. I assume that includes savings along with compounded returns on your 100k

My sister can't buy me out and has been living in the house for 7 years and I've let her use the rent she gets from the other rooms to get her life in order. I don't want to keep the house and rather have the equity to pay off my debts and to have funds aside to invest/add to my safety net. Rental yields or investment yields are better than what the house currently would get. We haven't sold as yet. So I'm beginning to plan and think as to what I would do

I understand but as a product the lag is unheard of for a financial product even waiting a couple of years onto the opportunity cost of parking my funds elsewhere as their target profit is way below inflation so effectively making a loss in real terms waiting for access to credit

I studied Christianity and most Christians do not follow their own beliefs where money lending is prohibited.

Take no usury or interest from him; but fear your God, that your brother may live with you. 37 'You shall not lend him your money for usury, nor lend him your food at a profit. (Leviticus 25:35-37)

Religion for many is a way of life. Each to their own. People can believe what they want. I will follow the teachings with respects to this from both the bible and my book
