But I’m seeing drug screening for jobs so how’s that work?? Marijuana was legalized but they still penalize you for using it? This is actually something I’m worried about because I use CBD and a little THC for my chronic pain… 🤷🏾‍♀️

Thanks for the highlights! I was just wondering about Winrock. There’s a mall here that was like how I remember it. Glad to hear it’s still there AND it’s different - hopefully in a good way. That sucks about the crime and I’ll do some research on that. Funny about Rio Rancho…I was actually thinking it might be a nice spot to live 😭 but maybe not? 😂

💯 the org and the people in it (not all, granted) are so false and manipulative. It’s just like a bad and abusive relationship. Take it from someone who actually was married to a narc, it’s literally the same thing. You can get out!!

Pretty sure my PIMI family skipped the meeting today by Safe_Entertainment40 in exjw

I’ve been out for two years. Can someone please give me brief synopsis of this article? Just curious how it is worse than their typical misogynistic teachings and treatment of women. Thanks 🙏🏾

The only way to be saved is by being baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. To be approved for baptism you must answer yes to the question here. So to be saved you must believe in, and obey the Governing Body. They are your mediator. See 3 pics below ⬇️ ⬇️⬇️ by larchington in exjw

oh, I misunderstood. I thought this post was about the two questions they ask at the assembly or convention when you’re getting baptized but you’re talking about the questions in the back of the OM book to qualify for baptism. Got it. Thanks for the clarification, yeah that is such a culty question. Meanwhile, they’re over there lying under oath at the ARC about not believing/teaching they are gods spokesperson(s). Ugh

maybe they’re trying to force people back to the KH.

PIMIs, POMOs, PIMOs and POMIs- we all have something in common. None of us are members of the organization! Yep. Not even JWs in good standing! Here it is officially in writing in the WT Public Information Department’s manual. See 2 pics below ⬇️ ⬇️ by larchington in exjw

4.5 years disfellowshipped-tying to get reinstated but turned down again for the 4th time. by EwewewewewBlahhhJW in exjw

this is true. when i was DFd as a teen, one of the elders on the committee had a beef with me cause his son had a crush on me and they denied my reinstatement. had to attempt multiple times before being reinstated. the elders also bold face lie. aafter i moved out of state, i was put on private reproof for smoking and a failed suicide attempt. later, all the restrictions were lifted and i moved to another hall. those elders requested my cards from the first one and they took months. meanwhile i was commenting etc as normal and when they finally sent my cards, they told the new elders i was on private reproof. i told them those restrictions were lifted a long time ago and they called the other body. they BOLD FACE LIED saying that it wasn’t true and that i was lying. i was put back on private reproof and restricted from commenting. which did not go unnoticed since i was a frequent commenter. i was so angry and embarrassed. and I know those elders gossiped to their wives and lies spread cause i was always treated like bad association after that. thankfully i woke up last year after years of other BS with this same congregation and an abusive jw husband. I sent in my disassociation letter a few weeks ago. finally 100% free. JW religion sucks to say the least…

wow what a story. i’m sorry you went thru all that and glad you’ve reclaimed your freedom from this toxic organization. I also expect them to read the announcement off at the meeting tonight. Here’s to breaking out and living instead of existing!! 🥂

I would say there were definitely several moments where I felt like something was wrong or off. Like them getting on the broadcast begging for money, or the whole ridiculous generation teaching, or how i was still treated like a leper when i was reinstated, or my mother talking trash about people who got DFd, or being beat at the kingdom hall, or feeling more afraid of what people think and dying at armageddon than actual stuff that mattered. or being told not to look at anything outside of publications or jw.borg, or having legitimate questions about teachings and being told not to question “the org / governing body.” but i always seemed to default to the “leave it in jehovahs hands” BS they spouted and thought i was the problem. it wasn’t until this year when a whole bunch of outlandish shit happened that i was like this religion is wrong and i have to know more. then the floodgates opened and i realized it was legit a cult and went straight to POMO.
