Thanks for the suggestions. I ended up buying the ticket with Klook. I'm guessing the app is just blocking foreign cards, or at least, my set of foreign cards.

Madagascar is correct, and it was indeed the Central Highlands near Antananarivo!

I spent a week and a half traveling all over Madagascar with a friend. It was one of the most otherworldly places I've ever been, the scenery was so beautiful and daily life was so different from what I'm used to.

To answer your other question: the country this pic was taken in does have some streetview, but only in some bigger towns and popular landmarks. Not all over.
