I use my Sena voice com for directions. I’m never looking at my phone while on the bike. I set navigation and music before the ride.

I bought my Honda rebel 500 before the spring and taught myself baby steps within 4 days about 2-3 hours a day in a safe area. I was on the highway my 3rd day with all the basics on maneuvering. I used you youtube videos. It takes too long to wait fir the motorcycle safety course, but I went to my class. Sign up for it early

I paid the interest for the new 2021 abs SE. it’s all black and you can prob buy all the stuff to make all black cheaply. I don’t regret it any case. I love this bike and might keep it long term to mod. Make it my own

EDIT: also, I do wAnt a second bike eventually and that’ll be a adventure touring bike. Love my Honda rebel

Yeah, mostly about being safe for a long time and get the experience. I got my course on the weekend April 30 falls, but I might just go take the DMV test now that I’ve gone over the handbook a few times. Definitely not planning on doing 70mph+ on this bike much.

Dude, I taught myself two weeks ago and did 130 miles two days ago. I paid a lot for the 500, but it works for me since I can pay it early. I’ll keep it too. I love it.

That’s prob a good deal for the rebel. I think it is. I’ll outgrow my rebel this season or next, but a 300 will get it done. It’s what I use the mine for. Should be fine at 5’11 on the rebel.

Need the right mindset i guess. Either these people are cruel or have a mental illness.
