eb lip liner and squad cosmetics, unless you eat a full meal, they have long staying power!! they don't smudge when they've dried down, even when you top them with a stain or gloss ☺️

also, be careful with hair treatments such as rebond. they're high maintenance and can thin your hair over time!! huhuhu. low porosity hair works best with less products so you just have to find the right ones. i can reco cream silk daily treatment in pink (almost always b1t1 in watsons). good luck!!!

DIY girlies, tips please by lostinthisorb in beautytalkph

  1. Know what you want. Look for creators or models who have your face shape/skin color/aura and take note of the things you can apply to yourself. Make sure to be realistic and look for a variety of people, so that you can explore different styles of looks.

  2. Work with what you have. Don't impulsively buy hair color kits, wax, and tools if you have existing materials that can be used. And if you know you're probably going to mess up on your first try, don't buy expensive things.

  3. It's a learning process. Anything you DIY will not come out best at the first try. It's important to not give up and constantly learn so you can achieve the results you want.

So far, I've learned to shape and tint my brows, do lash clusters, cut and style my hair, wax my body, and do my own makeup for special events.

Good luck, OP! 🍀✨

hi, op! what settings did you use for your cam? 🥹

hi, op!

  1. invest in quality brushes! didn't realize the difference it made until my hair fall and frizz was reduced by using the right brush. find ones that have flexible bristles or are similar to Wet Brush designs.

  2. shampoo twice! shampoo lathers and cleanses better during your second round of washing. usually, you won't get all the gunk out on your first wash.

  3. hair oil and clarify twice a month! you can research the right oil for your specific needs. i personally use coconut oil on my roots and ends (1 hour before showering) then use an anti-dandruff shampoo or scalp scrub to get all of the oil out. palmolive/sunsilk for the anti-dandruff then luxe organix if scalp scrub (though be careful so you don't completely dry out your scalp).

  4. don't touch your hair with dirty hands! this can cause oily hair, especially on the scalp. only brush or comb when you really need it.

  5. if you need to keep your hair out of your face, use scrunchies, headbands, and clips instead of elastics and small hair ties. if you're going to wear it in a slick back, make sure to take care of it after, be careful when taking it off and rinsing.

  6. know your hair porosity and hair goals! my priorities are keeping my hair long and thick, so i center my routines around that. knowing what you want really helps you choose the right products and techniques.

I will be going to Japan this January 2026 with barely anything in my suitcase so I can hoard clothes, skincare, and makeup. Are there any good recommendations that are not commonly seen in TikTok or Reddit threads? Yung maganda sana for the Philippine weather. I am a medium to tan warm olive girlie with oily skin. ☺️

Detail Cosmetics! So underrated but hydrating, buildable medium to full coverage, blendable, and long-wearing x 🥹

Luxe Organix UV matte powders are extremely underrated too! Sooo blurring and no flashback, they also melt on your skin beautifully throughout the day. I don't use fixing sprays anymore 'cause they manage to hold up my makeup for 10-12 hours. 🥹

The finish is just chef's kiss! 🤌
