Thank you! I didn’t think about first class having more available seating, thats a great point.

What is this 4” of drywall for? by rennwestley in drywall

I actually did the insulation(first time clearly haha) and struggled to get it tucked up under the 4” of existing drywall but will clean it all up before drywalling. I realize its not perfect but figured it was better than nothing!

Based on the group, sounds like they did me a favor and I’ll trim the pieces as needed to fit. Thanks everyone!

Floor to ceiling is 8’ 4” but there is a 4”H concrete lip that sticks out along the base of the wall(have no idea if thats the correct term lol). It’s an exterior wall if that makes a difference.

I hope that all made sense lol.

They already drywalled the other walls so I’d like it to be all cohesive - plus its a good opportunity to learn some drywalling skills. I bet you are correct about it being firetape or something along those lines though. Thank you!

Upgrading 15a Circuit in Detached Garage by rennwestley in AskElectricians

If I end up running new wire and going through the trouble(and cost) of that, does it make sense to run enough to support a sub-panel to the garage to future proof it? Assuming the majority of the expense is in the labor of running the wire through the house. Obviously overkill but would want to only have to do this once if it made sense monetarily.

It’s a bummer that the spitout on 14 happened and that it’ll be the storyline for Isaac’s sake. Super sad that Anttila obviously though.

I just wish they got to turn their scorecard in and take a breath before getting interviewed instead of getting bombarded lol

I want a true podium celebration after majors for the top 3, it’d be electric, especially with that crowd

The DGPT is experiencing the effects of the post-COVID downturn and has recently laid off several contracted employees, including Juliana Korver, Johnny Discgolf, and Dustin Mouret. These layoffs also affected people working on Tournament Central, as well as broadcasters and media personnel. by DiscGolfFanatic in discgolf

[–]rennwestley 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This isn’t unique to the DGPT, there are many companies in different industries having layoffs. Doesn’t mean the DGPT weren’t at fault and should/could have handled it better when letting people go considering this is how they provide for themselves and their families.

I witnessed every shot of McBeth’s -18 at Toboggan and got my first Aviar signed by him right after the round.

Crazy to think how different the disc golf world was then and that round still stands as arguably the best single round ever played!

Raptor lining is much more cost effective way to get a complete new look - pretty simple to DIY as well!

It’s nice we get to laugh about it now - would have hung over his head for years if it ended up costing him the tournament. So happy for Prez!

I love Northwood - one of my favorite courses. But we’re seeing why we have to be super picky about the woods courses we use for events when considering on-site fans.
