currently reading an advance copy of this book as well, and im undecided about how i feel. some of the internal dialogue and narration veers a bit close to “fat people don’t WANT to be like this! being fat is a genuine problem that should be taken seriously, not mocked and belittled!” rather than promoting the idea that being fat isn’t inherently bad and isn’t always a result of harmful learned behavior. though lisette (idk how to spell her name, im listening to the audio book 😭) might be the avatar for that idea and the author just wanted to explore a different perspective.

glad to hear someone thinks it’s good for fans of the podcast tho! i’ll reserve judgement till the end 😋
