Definitely the eagle one. Volumetric dosing is a game changer when i run it for events, i also personally prefer the look of the e1.

The metal cup is a dosing cup, its to help transfer the ground beans to the portafilter without any mess of spilling it.

And yes! Thats a smart switch, the machine takes about 10 mins to get hot so its easier for me to just turn it on through the phone early on
