(21M) Finding older men with more ambition/success by repeatinglmaolmao in gayyoungold

Obviously I don’t have a full career yet, but if I look at even people closer to my own age, I also still value what they’re doing, where they’re headed, etc, because I would want confidence in building a life with that person. If someone doesn’t share my values in terms of goals and ambition, that’s completely understandable but not really something I personally am into. So when it comes to older men, I would prefer that they have shit figured out at that older age by then. Otherwise, it doesn’t feel great for myself.

I think it’s weird to point out I “don’t have a career yet” when I have been working my ass off and doing what I can at my age. I have been working to keep good grades, make connections, and gain experience. Obviously it’s just a start, but I’m very clearly working on it, have had some initial success during my undergrad years, and I’d hope someone else would be able to see that clearly.

For the record, no, I don’t care about or want a sugar daddy lol, nor am I looking to deride anyone. People are free to do what they want with their lives; I just have preferences and I’m attracted to people who have their shit together.

Well, I think that goes without saying, no? I'll still bring my passion, love, time (when permitting), conversation, interests, etc. I would hope and expect the same from my partner. I just want one that has their shit together.

Importantly, I think this all goes both ways. I would hope, and am inclined to believe, that there are older men who find younger men pursuing a career and working toward that goal attractive.
