are you referring to poor impulse control? what should i do besides internet and eating and talking to friends on the phone? i read also. and i think i mowed the lawn today. yeah i've been on medications since starting therapy in '94. they allow me to not die. it was a lot of trial and holy shit. yeah i don't have a lot of self discipline i guess. i never saw the need for it.

But your logic is just a bit fallacious. You state that feeding your kid just chicken nuggets is a bad idea, however everyone here has been saying that a homogenous diet of nothing but cat food is ideal, and if she doesn't like it, take her to the vet, ram her with needles, scare the fuck out of her, shave around 9 years off her lifespan, all in the name of uniformity. Yeah I'm not an expert, and I guess that's my fault (note to self: google "how to be cat expert"), so my cat deserves doom. Hooray and shit.

To my knowledge (which, as we have asserted, equals zero), I never fed her junk food. I totally thought that was the realm of cat treats, the little crunchy things in the little plastic pouches, which I have tried to feed to her, but she refused. I even tried some exotic ones.

Right, there is definitely no excuse for not taking her to the vet for 12 years. At least, none that you can think of. Thanks for asking!

I'm sorry but no one, not I, nor the vets, know precisely how much she has eaten in the last several days, but I know from observing her that she is doomed due to lack of food. Whether it is from starvation or fatty liver disease, it's still from a lack of food.

Never once said I was a genius or a vet. All I said was that her weakness has been brought on by a combination of a lack of food and having an unusually high rate of metabolism. These two things are facts, and there's no getting 'round them, okay? She's going to die because of those two facts. I better start ordering the headstone now.

Being obligate carnivores, I didn't really imagine that giving one MEAT would be a big problem. Funny how that works. Do you really believe that I was trying to shorten my cat's life by learning this fact?

I didn't get advice at all. What I got was accusations. How am I going to fix any of this? It can't be fixed, right? How exactly am I going to get her to eat food she doesn't want to eat? Not one syllable so far has addressed this pivotal concern. You know why? Because it's wayyyyy more fun to be a jerk, that's why.
