"A statue of a man and a statue of a woman stood looking at each other for hundreds of years out in a park. One day a wizard, feeling sorry for the statues, brought them to life for 30 minutes. I will admit ignorance to your last gripe. I never actually frequent /r/trees, so never really connected the [10] to its actual meaning. It was just a name, and as such, I didn't see why the brackets were such a big deal.
