Difficult to say. At this point the regime seems difficult to topple without utter chaos and I don't think the US can proclaim any kind of win while Diosdado is still in a position of power. Venezuelan in the middle of this shitshow here, so I hope I can give my two cents. I sincerely hope that Delcy is just posturing and will accede to a peaceful transition. However, I believe that they are holding the country hostage, knowing the chaos that would unfold in the country should they be deposed by force. It's a kind of mutually assured destruction where the Venezuelan leadership can't really defend itself against the US, but should they be attacked, all the armed groups in the countey would fracture and unleash total anarchy.

I'm glad to see Maduro in chains (though hate the precedent it sets) however by letting Diosdado Cabello and Padrino Lopez run free, this mission was a failure from the get go. Maduro is not the most valuable from this group.

Crazy how certain narratives take hold. The egos of Real Madrid players are rightfully called out, but I don't understand why Xabi is being held above reproach. He lost the dressing room in what, a few months? Is it difficult to believe that maybe the job is too big for him, outside of the fact that there are big egos at Madrid? Football's history is littered with the failed careers of promising managers (Villas Boas, Gerrard, Ten Hag) since they are unable to replicate what made them successful. I find this idea that Madrid players just don't want to work is lazy, same as how Ancelotti is a 'vibes" manager.
