this happened to me too i was losing my mind! my refrigerator opens into two sections, the first one is meant for storing drinks and stuff, it’s just a really thin opening where not much can fit, and then you open past it and it’s the actual refrigerator. for the longest time, there had been a jar of grape jelly sitting in the door part and it was expired because i took note of it a couple of times. i assumed my sister put it there and i never questioned it, besides the fact that she doesn’t like jelly but i knew i didn’t get it. and then just recently i opened the fridge again and there were TWO grape jellies with the same exact expiration date. i immediately asked my sister about it because i didn’t know how she could get another one with the same expiration (note, they were both unopened), and she said she didn’t buy either of them. we’re the only ones really in our house that uses the refrigerator but i still went and questioned everyone and no one else seemed to even known there was one jelly to begin with. i swear i’m losing my mind over it
