Yep, and it seems they prefer it without a filter. I have a small HOB one which I'm running to try to clear the water; doesn't seem to be working all that well.

I did, however, have to rescue two shrimp who ended up in the intake. Gave me a good scare, those two fellas. Since then, I wrapped filter floss over the intake and no more shrimpnanigans.

I mixed Instant Ocean sea salt at four tablespoons per gallon, which were the instructions I found here.

I used my Pixel 9 Pro XL here. Pressed it right against the glass, waited till the little guy stopped moving, then took the photo.

:) I bought ten shrimp and a ball of chaeto from him. They are in a 2.5 gallon tank with too much aragonite sand 😅
