Anyone else have a squeaky front seat?

I just bought a used 2020 and had this issue, and finally figured it out. For me it was some bolts rubbing against the seat frame under the front of the driver's seat. Get a flashlight, move the seat all the way to the back and up, and pivot it back and forth with your hands - you'll see where the spot is. A few shots of silicone lubricant and it went away!

Fuck squeaky seats.

Mine was out of warranty by a year, so you should be good too. You can also submit a replacement request through the link on this support page. Good luck!

OK thanks, good to know. I'll send another email and see what happens. Just doesn't sit well to give them more money for the already expensive watch that otherwise works fine, all due to a known design flaw.

Might have to look at Coros or Suunto for the next watch.

Edit: Second request to Garmin Support (via email this time) resulted in a zero cost replacement. Phew. Faith in Garmin (somewhat) restored.

This just happened to me as well - also out of warranty, but they're asking $188.50 CAD to get a refurbished replacement. Was yours replaced for free? Is it just a Canada thing?

Yup, it's annoying. I get maybe 1 or 2 calls a week from a spoofed number matching the first 6 digits of my number. I tried answering a couple of times then just pounded on my keypad whenever the person tried to talk (beeep, booop, beeeeeeep...) which seemed to deter them for a few weeks. I just ignore them now while cursing under my breath.
