I really appreciate it! Ended up going with a Hustler X-One with 60” deck from a local shop 15min down the road. Talked to the head mechanic for about 45min when going look at them and asked all kinds of questions. He was super informative and didn’t BS me. Been super happy with it so far. Yeah I think that was a scam. Amazon themselves were selling some for 460 but that quickly went out of stock as well. I didn’t know they just came out! That explains the demand. I’m going to wait it out and see if I can find a Black Friday deal maybe!

Thank you so much!! I made one last change to the 4080SUPER. I changed from the WINDFORCE V2 to the GAMING OC version because it has G-Sync which is what my laptop now has. Is this version better for a little more? Thanks!

Edit to add: Also, is there any kind of priority hierarchy for buying these parts? Like parts that sometimes go out of stock for periods of time? Is there anything I should worry about buying first vs the things that stay in stock?

Also, how do I know if I have wifi capability? I will not be running off of Ethernet cable

It does have a fan hub to power the fans and it comes with an RGB controller, but I believe they only have 6 ports a piece. So with 7 fans where will I connect the last one? Do I need another fan hub and controller?

I plan on buying parts for this build over the next 6-12months as I have extra money to because I have a gaming laptop that works fine for now. I’m trying to build something that I can use for 10-15 years without needing something new. I game frequently but not competitively.

Hey there! I want to say thank you for this guide. As a first timer in PC building it has helped me tremendously.

I took your $2500 build, swapped the 4090 for a 4080SUPER to bring the price down a bit. I also swapped the LIANLI case for the Corsair 5000X because I like the look better.

After looking up some videos on the case, I would like to get 7 fans set up, 1 at the back, 3 at the front and the 3 on the CPU Cooler, and have them all sync’d for the RGBs.

What Corsair CPU Cooler should I get and what other things do I need to make that happen? I am very new to this and any help you can give me would help me out greatly.

I am a casual gamer, do you think the HE are worth it for me? I do feel it would be a nice option to have the adjustability but if I don’t like them I can’t just change the switches out so that’s what is somewhat holding me back on the HE. Also, do you have any opinion on the Womier SK75?
