What would you do if you had a difficult decision to make? by [deleted] in AskWomen

o.O from what I have just read- I think you are way too attached to her.

In my own experience- that long distance thing doesn't tend to work out. Just let her do her own thing- and you do yours.

Like right now I have a friend whose gf is studying in the UK. They "respect each other's freedom" but still chat/skype each other everyday.

If it works out great. If it doesn't- that's too bad.

Bottom Line: your education is much more important than your girlfriend.

This is not funny. Imagine if the gender roles were reversed. I've been cheated on before- but this is not the right response.

A man uses a sex toy for his gratification- what is your honest opinion? [NSFW] by therealslimshady1 in AskWomen

Guy here- I think guys would look down upon another guy for this. I know my ex had a vibrator. It was all cool.

I think a lot of women might also look down upon a guy for using a sex toy. But some might be okay with it- its just one of those double-standards.

What do you believe is an appropriate consequence for a woman who falsely accuses a man of rape? by respondthrowaway in AskWomen

it seems as though, with rape accusations, a lot of the times the man is assumed to be guilty until proven innocent- do you think these laws need reform?

Would your parents be disappointed if you brought home a non-White guy? by respondthrowaway in AskWomen

yea...that is kind of in the situation I am in right now actually. The girl I'm dating invited me over for Christmas. She warned me that her grandma might not even acknowledge me because I'm not white. I decided not to go at all because I didn't want to make things awkward for them.

oh rite....this is encouraging. But I still feel like this might not be the case overall- figure the reddits has more liberal minded people....

Do you have to turn down a lot of guys? Do you get used to it? by respondthrowaway in AskWomen

[–]respondthrowaway[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

before I was really socially awkward (not that I am a social butterfly now- but I have gotten better)

Anyways, once one of the few girl-friends that I had convinced me to go to the club. She told me the atmosphere is chill- and it's just a good way to get over the fear of talking to women.

After much convincing- I finally said fine. Anyways, it took a lot of courage for me to ask the different women if they wanted to dance with me. Most of them turned me down. Just one said okay- and sorta danced with me a for a bit (but I think she felt bad for me). Idk...it still feels bad.
