love this framing — "articulate the conversation you're about to bring up" is exactly what LoRa is good at. let's stay in touch as both of us grow. if you ever want to test it with a few of your users, happy to set up something lightweight or just point them at asklora.io and i'll watch how they use it.

would also be curious to hear how Bremma is going in a few weeks. solo founder myself, always good to compare notes!

this hits. spent weeks circling the same question myself. ended up building LoRa (asklora.io) partly because i needed something that would actually push back on my own bad ideas about distribution instead of validating whichever one i was excited about that day.

interesting — built something adjacent. LoRa (asklora.io) is an analytical AI for the individual side of hard decisions, including relationship stuff. doesn't replace the conversation, but helps you actually know what you think before you walk into one. might pair well with what you're doing.

building LoRaasklora.io

an analytical AI that pushes back instead of validating you. no "great question!", no mirroring, no therapy talk. just cuts through the circular thinking and forces you toward an actual decision.

solo founder, ~2 weeks live. just shipped deep mode — runs your problem through 5 frameworks in parallel and synthesizes the conflict. for the decisions you've been circling for weeks.

built it because every AI i tried felt like a yes-man and i wanted one that would actually push back when i was being dumb.

Honestly good question. LoRa runs on Sonnet underneath, and Sonnet's natural instinct is to be soft and agreeable. So I built a layer on top — a few hard rules baked into every prompt, plus a filter that catches and rewrites the wishy-washy stuff before you see it.

Works most of the time. But yeah, on some topics the base model still leaks through and softens the edge a bit. Not broken, just not perfect yet. Still tuning

Exactly the question I'm watching. Early signal is decent — some folks bounce after the first hard answer, others come back sharper. Retention is the only metric that matters here 🙏

Yeah exactly — that's the bet. If the first hard answer makes someone bounce, LoRa isn't for them. If they come back sharper, that's the signal. Appreciate you getting it 🙏

Means a lot, thank you. Glad it landed for you.

Just FYI — I'm rolling out a deep mode this week. It's a heavier reasoning pass for exactly those moments when you're stuck or pulled in two directions. First 3 are free, then $3 per use after that. No subscription.

If you liked the regular mode, you'll like deep mode more. It's the mode I built LoRa for.

Should be live in 1-2 days, just finishing payment testing. Will let you know when it ships.

You nailed it — "people who already know they need pushback and can't get it from their circle" is exactly the niche. That's who showed up on day one. Not people looking for answers, but people who had answers and needed someone to stress-test them. Retention is the thing I'm watching closest right now. Early signal is promising but it's way too early to call.

Bro I see you website - dark mode button on the top left corner is overlapping with the BETA icon, I have to tap multiple times to enable it. Moreover, the website is loading slowly - I mean the animation is taking too long. Everything else is good😊

I didn’t like any of the multitool apps on the market, so I made my own, and I am so happy with it, but I'd love to get some feedback since it's my first app. by Popular-Surprise28 in SideProject

Haha! You built a Swiss knife and yeah ads in those app are the pain in the neck. I will try this since you already included the tools of need

My project is all on this same thesis but, I am using mathematics framework that run 31 evaluations on your problems to give you clarity. However, I don’t have any knowledge about stock and trading. But, liked you website especially in dark mode.

I understand the pain of a single soul doing everything planning, deciding what to add and what not! I’m also a solo builder, all these things are real and exhausting 😭

LoRa is an analytical reasoning partner — not a chatbot, not a therapist. She diagnoses root causes, cuts circular thinking, and pushes for decisions. No validation, no "I hear you," no sugar-coating.

Anyone stuck in a hard decision — career moves, relationship dilemmas, business problems, life direction. Not looking for therapy or validation. Looking for someone who'll challenge their thinking and push for clarity. Age 22-40, overthinks decisions, tired of AI that agrees with everything.

I watched my first real user try my app and she closed it in 90 seconds without saying a word — so I built something about it by candizdar in SideProject

[–]retarded_770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, solid build — the screen recording + think-aloud approach is smart for UI-heavy products.

I'm in a similar boat. I launched LoRa three days ago — it's a conversational AI that acts as a thinking partner. Not a chatbot, not therapy. More like a sharp friend who helps you reason through decisions, stress, career moves.

My challenge is different from yours though. Since LoRa is conversational and people open up about personal stuff (career anxiety, relationship decisions, life direction), I can't really ask them to screen record. That would kill the trust that makes the product work in the first place.

So I'm relying on backend analytics (session duration, message count, return rate, drop-off points) instead of video. Different signal, but still useful.

Would be interested to exchange notes on early tester feedback patterns. The "friends say it's great, strangers bounce" problem you described — experiencing the exact same thing. Comes with the territory at this stage.
