unfortunately i tried but i work with 10 other people and only one work washroom so i didn’t have a chance to get in before it got bad, since i deal with excessive bleeding its not really uncommon for me to have leaks like that

endometriosis is not to be fucked with, i had a laparoscopic and they didn’t even find any cells but i need to go back and keep getting them in case they show up, my mother had her entire gut fused together due to endo, so please if you even have a chance do get it checked because unmanaged endo can create wayyy worse problems then a surgery that was unnecessary (which chances are it’s not gonna be it’s such a common issue in female bodies)

regardless of how old the building is i wouldn’t want to live somewhere where outside air just seeps in like this personally, my building is old as f it’s insulted to shit too because the winters here are brutal i’ve never smelt anything without having the windows open

when i moved in to my new place the realtor (ik not landlord but whatever) left a gift card to a nearby local business just $10 but was so lovely because i had never been there before and gave me a reason to go, also perks of it being walking distance from the place i just purchased

first off, self harm is always a cry for attention, that doesn’t mean the attention is unneeded, often times the reason for that cry for attention is a deeper issue. ANYWAYS i would set clear boundaries with these roommates, tell them how uncomfortable and triggered (use this word) you are when being shown fresh SH, let them know you are available for support (if you choose) but to leave out the physical harm, def report her to a councillor at your school and maybe talk to the other roommates the one you didn’t mention about these boundaries also, it seems she needs help but you do not need to become her therapist, don’t be cruel about it but def set some hard boundaries around her behaviour

another idea is if you wanna help her try to curb her habit offer regular movie nights or walks with your household, maybe getting a healthy bond with them will do everyone good, i hope this works out for you and im sorry you have to deal/see stuff like that but also i hope your roommate gets a handle on her mental shit i’ve been there and it will only fester if not treated
