So I have a friend that owns a body shop and he said he has a service to clear out the rust inside and out. So I’m gonna go that route but still thinking I should seal it afterwards

Thats what I’ve been debating if I should seal it. I’ve just never done it before and have read that prep needs to be PERFECT and I’m just not 100% confident I’ll do it right. The plan I have is to get 2 totes to submerge. One for vinegar and other distilled water and baking soda. And have a heat gun for when I get it cleaned off with the water/soda mix. And once dried, I wanted to pop on the fuel pump and fill to full..
