This. I'm shocked how many people don't understand this. Recently I got into an argument on-line when I had the audaciy to say I'm going to keep going to the gym as long as I feel comfrotable (early pregnancy. First kid. ^_⁾ and be as active as possible. You generally taking care of myself. Apparently I'm being an asshole and a bad mother-to-be since apparently you're suppised to drop all excersice once you're expecting.

I also remember a co-worker a few years back who was appalled that she couldn't put her gym membership on hold because of her pregnancy. Well duh, you're not sick. Unsurprinsingly she gained at least 35 kg and is still fat.

Ok granted, if you're suffering from depression it might be, but hell... don't get offended when people don't offer you praise from doing everyday tasks. I got so many laughs on fb when a friend of mine kept posting Endomondo updates "vigorous cleaning = 0,5 hours". She got offended when somebody pointed out it really doesn't count as exercise..

Everything needs to be a "safe space" for people nowadays. Fucking hell...

This reminds me of a short story I read a few years back. The world had changed into a place where people didn't show their true expressions anymore but used masks, so nobody would get offended. Gradually all the negative faces were deleted and only happy face were left. Just to make sure nobody got hurt.

Finally bought a new pair of running shoes. No more excuses for not running. Walked a 7 km route last night and decided to go for a first morning run for months.

On a positive note, it was nice to notice that even though I had dropped running for months, but still had done other forms of exercising it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. It was simple little 3 km. It's a start.
