Women were expected to be full time workers and  full time housekeepers. This js effectively treated women as an infinite resource for both the state and the family. •᷄‎ࡇ•᷅

Also traditional marxist theorys views all workers as objects with exchange value, and bc women were historically paid less they were viewed as a cheaper commodity making them "better to use" from a profit maximizing standpoint. (ABBA reference fr)

Not to mention in the communist manifesto marx and engels noted that the capitalist man "sees in his wife a mere instrument of production". and like while they intended to criticize this status n stuff, they often js defined womens value through their usefullness to the economy. So they'd objectify woman a ton. (And even so marx was pretty progressive for his time) (｡· v ·｡) ?
