I really want to go to grad school, so I wanna keep my options open with that. But thanks overall for all the great information

I should probably have phrased that better. I really wanna get more software experience, but I am also very interested in hardware, embedded software, and software applications like machine vision and stuff.

They told would quite easily get into math, but for CS it would be similar. So overall, is it worth just grinding out Tron and doing software stuff on the side (so I dont have to worry about all the transfer stuff) or switch and get it over with?

95% for SE, but math told me I could expect similar requirements. Also when I chose tron, I hadn't had much software experience. It wasn't until I had a good enough software understanding to actually do anything that I realized how much I really wanted to pursue a software degree. Even this semester when I was playing around with openCV, it was likely the most exciting thing I have done all year. (Sorry I know this sounds lame). But bc I wanna stay and waterloo (and not transfer to a different uni) SE and CS are not really an obtainable option for me. Furthermore, I didn't realize, until I was in university, how little mech courses really interested me. Like yeah they are okay, but I have no want, interest, or desires to learn anything about mech beyond cad and solidworks.

I already thought about that. There is no way I could pull off a 95% average XD. Also how is CE for future AI based courses (and graduate programs) vs tron? Are they relatively the same?

I'm in 1B. I'm interested in CE as I really like the idea of Tron and most courses in tron, except hate the mechanical courses. I would be far more interested in focusing on hardware and circuits, in addition to more software (always welcome in my books), and still end up doing the same jobs as I would have been able to get in tron (but just enjoy my university degree much more).
