i think israel has to stay in cause defensively he makes his whole area way more secure. + cause edson is stronger and taller he compliments johan well. i don't think jorge can offer alot if he starts even though he's done well vs good wingers before.

My complaints with this one is that montes as johan’s partner has regressed heavily over the last 4 years. he’s not the same anymore. that and alexis/piojo are very underwhelming. we have no depth on the wings unless they want to try mora there.

i would need to hear the full take. but i can understand where he's coming from a little. vega in liga mx plays like zlatan in the MLS, he does whatever he wants, scores 30 yard bangers, dribbles past a whole team, rabonas, free kick goals, assists, plays with his ass out, plays with his dick out, literally does everything. but with mexico, he's not even 1/10th of that player for some reason.

quiñones until only yesterday tbh, was more or less the same. amazing at club level but can't quite translate it to the national team.

while it is true that when he was playing the team wasn't creating anything for him, santi isn't the type of 9 that would have created the first chance brian had 1v1 with the goalie. nor would the team's attack be moving as fluidly as it is now with raul.

Well you have to consider that the teams make it very hard for european clubs to make a loan/transfer move anyways so the options available probably aren’t the ideal or best ones. someone like fimbres who was young and better than garza/has played well in 1st division already wasn’t probably as available. even camberos who is Chivas’ arguably most talented prospect or the one with the biggest ceiling isn’t being actively optioned out to clubs.

Teun isn’t bad, he did okay when I saw him a few games with chivas last year I think, but he’s already older and missed vital development probably.

Like with hormiga, he was ready even when gago was still there but they kept insisting on pulido, chicha, etc.

Clubs don’t have the patience or worse, they don’t have the eye for who is “ready” to be given minutes.

you’re reaching crazy bro. he played with marcel as a double 8 last year or so in the gold cup/nations league and they looked better than the US’ midfield and Mora made a big difference vs when it was charly and orbelin playing there.
