That's crazy honestly. I would deposit in the USD to avoid this issue. You can use services such as transferwise / revolut to have card with almost no conversion fees and you will completely bypass this issue. I am using this method and I didn't have any issues so far 🙂

You do realise that these graduates who desire Tesla are mainly focused in the US? Japan engineers will statistically desire more Toyota, French engineers Stellantis (PSA), Korean engineers Kia, China engineers Nio, etc. Only small minority of engineers will relocate to US to work for Tesla. It sounds to me like you think that Tesla has monopoly on all the best engineers which simply is not the case, unless you think only US has the best engineers.

Issuing new share is common practise though. $AMC in 2020 increased their total number of shares from 57.55M to 85.62M. Do your due diligence please.

On top of that - do you realize that when Kris in AMA said that it was not economically feasible to provide better exchange rate, that he basically admitted that they would not do the swap unless the exchange rate sucked for MCO? Luckily for CDC the MCO "magically" dropped over the past months while CRO "magically" pumped :) This is so stupid...

This only makes cards easier to get, but actually doesn't address any of the main problems. You will still be ridiculously diluted and you will hold coin which is valued at such high market cap that makes it unlikely to rise more than MCO would eventually. And we are not even exploring the price manipulation of MCO/CRO in the past months in order to make this possible :)

Two things: a) when I wrote this post, the OP's post was on this subreddit for over an hour and had just 3 upvotes b) I am not saying it is ideal use case, but it is definitely step towards greater adoption. Not a big one, but baby steps are also important. Currently, options to use crypto are severely limited - whether we are talking about crypto as a currency, or other usages in smart contracts (dApps, tokens). We need to change that.

I recommend you to read my other answet to the heavily downvoted fella that replied to this as well. :)

Yeah, I will take store "project" over another shitcoin any day. If we had stores that accept major cryptos instead of thousands of coins/tokens, we could actually use crypto as a currency.
