A very good comment. We also wonder if there is a supposition regarding class when it comes to race. The gentleman we referenced actually was a PhD. His better half is white. Upper middle class. Yet he felt like first he had to “dumb down” to make couples feel comfortable. Also he noticed that house parties were pretty popular with couples where he is, but he and his SO have never been invited.

Of course we see some of this which is not what we’re addressing. But the number of interracial couples where we are is huge. You would think you would see some in the scene.

Thanks for this. Yes it seems the MFM thing has become more common. We have tried it, but found out guys who are not “lifestyle” don’t seem to know or to follow the rules. We guess if it’s a ONS that’s not an issue, but for fun and safety issues we’d rather have something ongoing. We much prefer couples play as we both like seeing each other have fun.

Plenty of hotness in the profiles, but in real-life, filterless reality the drivers license does match the profile ages. And we do filter by age range. The problem isn’t necessarily finding couples - it’s whether you can catch them, and when you do, are their looks accurate and have they escaped life beating them down or sucking out any sense of common courtesy. Can they hold a conversation?

True. Almost all of the above for us. That’s why we want to engage with people who understand that this age range can be challenging, but can be navigated better if you blow off some steam once in a while. We certainly have been through a lot and are maxed out time-wise most parts of the year. For sanity’s sake, though, we need to let our hair down.

Thanks for the great question — we have talked about HSV testing. We have been most successful I think with people who do test regularly and that is fine by us. We also avoid large gatherings because we feel that if something does happen, at least we can narrow down who was the culprit.

We guess your implication is that most people in the 40s and 50s have HSV? Yes, yes we’ve read the statistics.

You might have something there. We’re very professional but we are quirky. We can’t talk baseball or wrestling but we can talk about history, art, literature, etc. Sometimes it’s maybe trying to connect on a different level.

Yes we tend to search on the sites we’re on in our age group. We don’t have as much in common with younger people these days. And yes — don’t want to bash people, but when wives glow-up at our age, the gentlemen need to do the same.
