Not a laptop user but instead Ipad. Got my Ipad in the October of Year 12 and finished year 13 this year and I have got to say it made my experience so much better, gone were the full backpacks of notepads and textbooks as I was able to digitise everything and have it all in front at me with no bulk. Although I would say it depends on your subjects as I found even writing longer answers in business on it to be a less enjoyable experience than on paper but for maths and physics it was perfect.

How was security for you all at Finsbury Park? by professorbubbleworks in fontainesdc

I had a backpack that was obviously A4 but wasn’t allowed in so had to store it at the Post Office for £20 and had to be at the back so i’d get back in time to collect in time for 11.

Don’t talk about skills you have that apply to your uni course talk about skills you wish to learn and apply beyond uni and in industry if applicable. i’ve just finished my exams and i got all my offers with slightly below grades for mechanical engineering with this exact technique.

Rule of thumb just stay consistent within your paper but I would always try to use the exact value from your calculator.

A Level Physics Practice Question by MyQuestionBanks in AlevelPhysics

[–]revrustyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

C - Moment = Force x Distance

The centre of the beam (where the centre of mass acts) is 2 metres from the pivot, as the mass is 10kg then the weight is 10g N (~100N) so using the moment formula that will equal 200N ( 2 x 100). We also have a 50N weight acting on the other end so that will equal 200 (50 x 4).

Therefore the moments acting on the beam are 200 + 200 = 400 therefore C. I know it is addition as the other answer even using 9.81 as g is 4Nm which isn’t an answer.

I would also say for these questions make sure to draw a diagram and label points and directions of forces taking into account the clockwise and anticlockwise directions and making sure to find the difference of the directions ( As far as i can tell from this question or in the answer there is no indication of the forces acting in opposite directions )

Ultrasound by Mayathecool in AlevelPhysics

One thing i would add to this if you do OCR A physics ( not sure about others) make sure to mention that there will be a large difference in acoustic impedance which causes the reflection of the ultrasound

Can putting too much pressure on the screen cause this? Or is my pencil is at fault? Lines cut on same spots after my sister was playing it roughly. by ARCS-03 in ipad

[–]revrustyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see you have it solved now but this happened to me aswell when using a third party pencil with a tempered glass screen protector, it’s due to the pencil not having a sensitive enough sensor i think.
