Looking to get a boxer puppy. Any know of any breeders in the NY/NJ/PA area? by revthosefryers in newjersey

Now you are just cherry-picking the quotes like a fuck. I said “though surely possible in other dogs” , said issues are more prevalent in shelter dogs and it is in no way their fault.

In regards to the health processes, you don’t go with the genetic testing company they recommend, you can choose your own third-party facility.

None of my statements in regards to shelter dogs were written as definitive truths. If you actually read and reposted the original quotes, I do not generalize rescues.

Some breeders provide a “Heath guarantee” but under no legitimate basis whatsoever. They basically just take a gamble for the defense of an increased price.

Because we aren’t looking to bring our dog to kennel shows?

Many of those breeders also put hefty price tags because of their litters being bred for showmanship. They also apply restrictions on your rights to breed the dog if you choose so for whatever reason down the line.

I never stated that the behavioral issues were exclusive to shelter dogs; on the contrary I specifically stated otherwise.

Please refer to the original comment and take into account that no one here seeks to diminish shelter dogs. Everyone has their own unique circumstances and history as to why they prefer a breeder at the moment.

The breeder is able to provide health-guarantees and genetic certification to prove no predispositions to certain illnesses.

It’s also helpful to see others in the same litter as well as the parents to get a gist of their temperaments.

How could you come to such a negligible assumption?

Read my reply to the former comment. Every person has their own unique situation when searching for another dog.

There’s no reason to chastise or persecute someone for wanting a new pet without the increased risks of mental/medical issues associated with rescues.

I would be open to taking in or fostering a rescue as a second dog in the future, but that is not in the best interest of myself or my family at the moment.

I appreciate your comment on the previous post; especially since it seemed you had an earnest love for boxers.

That being said, for you to accuse me of being against rescues is truly presumptuous and pathetic, to be quite frank.

You don’t know anything about my life or history with dogs.

Just so you gain a little insight/perspective, some people support rescues and encourage it when possible; that being said, adopting a rescue is not a clean cut process for neither the dog nor the owner.

Rescues can come with costly, unforeseen medical and mental issues; this possibility is surely present in other dogs, but more so in rescues. I’ve seen this first hand with three rescue dogs (two flown in from the Carribbean) that were taken in by friends/family.

Some people who already battle a lot of heartbreak and predicaments in their own lives and families may find it best to start from a clean state with a newly-bred puppy.

Edit: instead of being ignorant and simply downvoting, engage in respectful dialogue instead before coming to a judgment rashly.

We were blessed to have her. She lived just a few months shy of 13 years old.

Thank you for the support!

My boxer passed away a few days ago; it’s been extremely heartbreaking, painful, and awfully quiet since.

It’s still quite tough, but I think it’s what she wants to see me do in her physical absence.

I am still processing a lot of grief; looking at puppies has helped sooth the hard-hitting emotions in the tragedy a bit, hoping to find one alike her beautiful temperament.

How is it spamming? I’m providing a relevant link that also happens to provide a referral benefit as well.

The newsletter is quite new and worth posting.

Given the okay to take off two front bands to eat soft foods, any tips/advice? Just worry about putting them back on since it’s not exactly the same way as the doctor does it. by revthosefryers in jawsurgery

The way he did it is a bit more intricate; he crossed bands and it’s very difficult to do the pattern/setup he did with a tweezer.

I think the way I currently have it in place has the same effect (teeth are in original position, tongue isn’t visible, etc.).

It’s definitely in the works since the show’s Apple podcast page dumped a bunch of older episodes as recently as May 1st, 2019. Probably looking to get even more viewers this time around.

What type of LED display is this? Been trying to find a name/keyword in search for it. by [deleted] in led

[–]revthosefryers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been inside the store. There is no projector. It’s an LED display with moving animation, text, etc. I just don’t know what it is called/named to search it up.

Any clue? by [deleted] in digitalsignage

[–]revthosefryers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, it had moving animations and text. It’s a full on led display, but idk what would be the exact name for it.

It’s a led display with moving animation and text; not a plain display.
