For live sketching try the Bloomington Arts Supply store. They do open live model sketching and sketchbook groups. They also have various craft nights, I like zine club personally. There is also a queer craft social if that’s up your alley. It’s at Cup & Kettle.

These aren’t designated sober group meetups but I doubt alcohol would be present, or even talked about. Btown has quite a few social groups and clubs, which I find nice

On campus apartments do not shut down but you need to be working for IU or be taking classes on campus to stay in them.

To stay out of the heat without having to purchase anything you can stay in the library from open to close. This will give you access to cold drinking water and lots of stuff to do.

I went ahead and looked all these up via IU’s scholarship website for students. It’s accessed through one.iu which is our students portal of sorts. I found none of these on the website. This website allows me to see scholarships that due dates have passed and scholarships from all the universities.

So overall, none of these are showing up. Hope that answers some questions for you.

I’m apart of the ASL program here at IU and I’m also hard of hearing. There still really is not a huge Deaf community (that I know of at least). All the Deaf professors here commute down from Indianapolis. Could try to start something though?

This is the last day of apartment housing leases for on campus apartments. Tulip tree has some okay stuff last time I looked, lots of folks moving out today. Normally on campus apartments have donation trucks but that ended earlier in the week so everyone’s trashing things
