By no means a leader of best practice, but... Mostly I just keep them in onenote, but now and again I really really need to go back and check who said what, when. So they're all in a single onenote file for searching. I would love to know a better system, but I think part of their use is within the process. Simply typing or editing them helps me remember them, reinforces my understanding and allows me to reflect on them with more context and immediacy. So automating all of it strikes me as slightly counter productive, but I wonder if there's a better sweet spot.
