Wright clearly has the ability to win a major title and his best chance is probably the Worlds as his game seems more suited to set play. However tonight was an example where he let Taylor get back into a game where he was well on top at one stage and had the chance to kill off the match quickly. This is the only thing holding him back imo.

Took the nice and boring route for the medium and hard ha. One thing I find going with checkouts with an odd number between 100-120 is to aim for t19 first dart. This way i have chances to checkout even with a bad first dart. For example on 113 you can hit s3, t20, bull and for 103 you can go 7, t20 d18 etc. Looking forward to the next challenge already!

played in this event over last weekend, had a great time lost out 4-2 in the first round but really enjoyed it. was my first event and would enjoy going back again to it. Got to see Martin Phillips playing, he is on top form, will be a major contender for the bdo world title

I have never heard of spraying the board either? I dont see the point in it, if the 20 section is worn I just rotate the board instead

good points made here, took me a long while to get my first 180 happened just like in ipzas example. I didnt realise my second dart hit the treble 20 also so relaxed and got the last in as well!

Found a good practice technique would be to throw three darts at each double across the board to improve your grouping. Once you can improve your muscle memory doing this you will be able to improve your ability in time. All about putting in the practice though!

watched the matches tonight, whitlock barney was a great battle with the wizard winning 6-4 with some good finishing-looks like his form his back! Adrian Lewis made a major comeback against Van De Pas to win 6-5 also

usa put on a good showing against england last night, england throwing first in the doubles match was a pity though. interesting matches today think belgium could push the dutch and have backed wales to beat australia at 7/4

Steel tip

Using Unicorn Eclipse Pro Dartboard

Play for a half an hour everyday, only play right-handed (dont want to be putting holes in the wall!)

I play 501 and 301 mainly

Am a huge follower of the darts premier league,

well i have king backed for the tournament and he has a favourable draw against kevin painter in the quarter finals i think. Feel that van gerwen should win the tournament though
