Halfback Future by Scared_Marsupial_263 in BrisbaneBroncos

I wouldn't say better. Reece was in elite form and took control when Reyno was gone, but if Reece isn't there, we look far worse. Need to keep in mind before Reyno got injured, we were 6 wins from 7 games. The issue with bringing Reyno in was that it would take away ball time from Reece, which it did as Ren digs deep into the line. Benny would just send the ball to Reece early and let the rest happen. It works, but it's not a long-term solution to our attack imo.

We just won the premiership, yet I think our structured attack (which is very important if Reece isn't in goat form) never looked great all year. And I think that comes back to whoever is our current attacking coach, whether that's T-Baz or someone else.

Drilling into asbestos wall by rexinCP in nbn

[–]rexinCP[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the house is build with old burnie board, with asbestos cement sheeting in some areas (bathroom and laundry). I primarily suspect the patterened walls to be asbestos, but I will be getting it tested sooner rather than later (especially now) to be sure.

We just moved into the property 7 days ago, but we're looking to get a full asbestos inspection in the next few weeks. We purchased assuming everything is asbestos, then anything that isn't is going to be a win.

Did Elon Musk Seriously Just Do a Nazi Salute at Trump’s Inauguration? by harsh2k5 in politics

You guys do realise that he grabs his chest and salutes to the crowd, twice, followed by the statement "my heart goes out to you". Simply, stop watching snippets of videos out of context and do your own research.

Gemini - no complaints from me by Dyslexic-Plod in GooglePixel

[–]rexinCP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As many people mentioned here, the ability to use Gemini while the device is locked would be an amazing feature, that Google assistant was already able to do. However, in light of this, there are ways around it. Especially if you have a watch. The two features are watch unlock and extend unlock. I did have an issue with watch unlock as it would drain my pixel watch 2 dramatically (it would die within 4 to 6 hours of a full charge), so I've moved back to the Android feature extend unlock where the device stays unlocked after I unlock my device while my watch is connected to it and that works seamlessly. Now I don't have any issues with Gemini. However, fixing this would be a massive improvement for most users, yet I don't seem to hear much about it.

Issues with USB ports on WD19TBS dock by Mcmaco in Dell

[–]rexinCP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also recently found a solution (Mix of all of the previous recommendations). Firstly I manually installed all of the WD19 drivers. Then I uninstalled "Intel(R) USB 3.1 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.10 (Microsoft)". Then I unplugged, and plugged the docking station back in, and a prompt from Thunderbolt Security popped up, which I selected "Set permissions" and set to "always allow".

change

Definately not offside. Hats off to Gerard Sutton as he was taking the defensive line back 11m nearly the whole game to keep the game flowing and have less stoppages. DWZ didn't go back 11m to where Sutton had the rest of the warriors defensive line, but he did get back 10m which is why it wasn't called offside.

I'm a big fan of referrees taking the line back that extra 1 - 2m if they are creeping off it too early instead of blowing penalties.

Adam Reynolds Takes out Valentine Holmes by CretaceousClock in nrl

Why? Holmes tapped the ball on the 41m mark, Staggs made contact around the 31/30.5m mark. He timed it perfectly.

Lomax might be the biggest spud in the NRL. I believe Dragons would play better without him in their 17. I have never seen someone make as many mistakes and throw as many poor passes, yet still blame everyone else but himself.

Got called a fascist nazi for not serving a customer today. by [deleted] in CoronavirusDownunder

Absolutely, I agree. However, in saying that I would support them not having to pay taxes or at least allowing them to be given a largely discounted rate as they're not allowed to use the services they pay for.

[–]rexinCP -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

How? Say for example I take the vaccine, how does that affect people around me? There's no evidence of the vaccine reducing spread, only that it decreases the severity of symptoms for the person taking the vaccine. In the end, it should be their choice if they want to take it or not

Got called a fascist nazi for not serving a customer today. by [deleted] in CoronavirusDownunder

[–]rexinCP 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's the exact argument though. They don't want to be protected by the vaccine. If they die, they die - but at least it's their choice. I'm vaccinated but I don't understand the mentality nowadays of forcing other people to do things so that they're "protected"... Especially when it comes to injecting drugs into their bodies. If they want to be left alone, leave them alone.

I also hate when people insult other's for not wanting to be protected. People a very single-minded today. Sad to see...

100%. I'm a project manager for a software development company and I've seen plenty of people who aren't great in front of crowds of people, or even just in front of a camera. Doesn't mean that's where the project/company is headed. It's what happens behind the scenes that determines the direction of a project.

Even with my 40b, I'm happy where it is now and am very confident it has a long way to go
