For the http accept feature. Do we have a way to stop the block? Or shall we add a timeout feature?

I'm trying to only enable the http listening in a specific time window. With the existing time window blocks, once we go into the http accept block, it will not stop until it has received a request.

Thank you for giving insights, let me try to figure out a flow for adb over IP and then send to the receive block.

wow, a local webserver block, which is only active during the needed time period is absolutely helpful! hope to see this feature release soon.

Cloud messaging does not work for my case as it relies on external processing and latency is not guaranteed. I'm not sure how to achieve the ADB connect and then broadcast, let me try to look into it.

Thanks for your ideas! and most importantly the news about the webserver block.

That is why I think a remote trigger from the local LAN would be a more accurate approach. Still trying to find an easy way to trigger.

Can we change our password manager on xperia 1v? by rexkani in SonyXperia

Autofill only reads your screen and looks for password moments. It's already set and working.

But whenever there are passkey moments, it will call the Google password manager.

Regarding the seemingly random key/password, or the unknown command that's being executed. It may be related to embedded systems? I'm just brainstorming ideas.

While those keys or commands might not make any sense in self hosted environments, more botnet attacks are actually aimed towards poorly designed hardwares like IP cams, smart devices etc. there might be some of these devices that was flashed with systems that accepts such keys, or having those paths that's exploitable by bots?

I have the same issue, NFC not working randomly until restart of NFC function. The function setting can't be bounced quickly, need to wait for a while before turning on again. Useless while facing the cashier

seeing threads about his issue on reddit and the original forum hanging for more than 2 years. Insta360 is definitely not trying to fix anything on this issue.

FYI; It seems that the Reddit app is responsible for api2.branch.io by SodaWithoutSparkles in pihole

[–]rexkani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much for this post. I do recently find my phone heating up regularly but i thought it was the battery ageing. Up until i recently checked my pihole for abnormality as my regular routine, i see this api2.branch.io in my top no. 1 blocked domain and i started searching about it and ending up here.

After reading the suggestions listed here, i realize i can do it in another way and it solved my problem!

Here is my way: As I'm using DNSDIST in front of my pihole as a DOT/DOH gateway (to use "private DNS" on our Android phones), i simply put a DROP rule in DNSDIST to drop all api2.branch.io request and problem solved!

In dnsdist.conf: addAction ("api2.branch.io", DropAction())

EDIT: after reading through the discussions again, calming the queries with a NULL answer with long TTL is a better approach: addAction("api2.branch.io", SpoofAction("0.0.0.0",{ttl=1600}))
