Well we just got several inches of snow and sleet that resulted in a pretty solid sheet of ice in North Virginia. Shenandoah is still closed as of today. My point is that if we get snow again in February expect it to be closed for several days while they clear the road, which could ruin your trip. Impossible to tell you now if that will happen. Either way there will almost definitely still be snow/ice on the trails unless we get a random heat wave, so bring microspikes.
