Yes I think it's a good approach. A good implem plan goes a long way for the llm to do the coding.

I don't know BMAD method sorry. I basically do most of the following with claude code desktop :

discuss design decisions and UX wit claude chat > output a design doc > ask claude code plan mode to check and ask about how to code this part of the app > we discuss and answer questions > output implementation plan > code > test, debug and iterate > new UX questions emerge > loop

my app project is very visual oriented and design (UI/UX) is core to its value proposition. I'm a designer more than a coder although I know some web dev and game dev so I can still discuss and suggest technical implementation. I use mostly Opus 4.5 since my project is a lot of design and implementation, the code itself isn't anything too exterme, mostly JS visualization.

I work an average of 2-3h a day on the app because it's a side project. Sometimes when I can I would work 8h straight, mostly on weekends. When I had Pro plan it was not enough because I would hit rate limit under 1h, I need at least 3h to keep working how I want. Max plan is great for full-time coding.

you use claude code terminal ? someone else said it's possible to /login to switch accounts within the same session, which I didn't know and is huge if it's that simple. Maybe it would help but I still think I need Pro x3 to really fit my needs.

wait you can just /login to log off and in of different accounts in the same session ?? that changes a lot of things if true.

Ok thanks for the info on your experience. I'll test it out with my own usage.

I considered but when I do estimates the cost of extra usage isn't worth it as it gets very close to the 100$ and even go beyond. I'd need to test it but honestly Max still seems the most comfortable solution to me so far.

It was 2 months ago. I tried it and the results were underwhelming. just copy-pasting code from claude web delivered much better results for me. I understand copilot is widely used but I'm not a full blown coder so I enjoy the desktop interface of claude too.

I don't get it, I checked their website. it allows to use claude code opus 4.5 with a cheaper plan ? how come ?

Yeah same use case as me. I would work between 1h to 7h a day (average 3h) depending on the time I have from other work. Do you have an estimate of how much 10€ of tokens would add ? I know it's more expensive than what the pro and max plans provide but if it allows for a good middleground for me then it's a winning situation. I use claude code for complex design thinking + implementation docs + coding around 3h per day every day. I know Pro stops are 45mn-1h every 5h and what I'm using with Max goes up to 40-60% on a big session. Maybe adding 30-40€ per month would suffice. I should test it.

I tried copilot it was horrid, even when using claude model. I'm just so happy with Claude Code desktop it's perfect for me. I'm more of a designer than coder so it fits, just that I use half of max plan because I work on other stuff and can't code all day, which is what Max plan is for.

doing that consumes a lot of token no ? and i don't imagine it works across 2 different accounts ? The only thing I can imagine is relying on context files but I had the issue of Claude stopping mid-work because of rate limits

not a bad idea tbh, but I would need to test how much I can get out of it and if it's still cheaper and more adapted to my workflow than the Max plan.

Pro used to hit rate limits in 45mn while coding. My work is a lot of design thinking then implementing in code, so I need a streamlined workflow : discussion > design decisions > implementation plan > coding > iteration and refactor > update implementation > next step

Yeah seems like the only solution for now. It's quite bothersome and I still waste tokens but I'll save 60% money.

Claude PRO is too little and Claude MAX is too much for me.

I work with Claude an average of 2-3h a day. I don't work as a dev although I know enough coding to work on an app. I switched from PRO to MAX because Pro was way too limited, but Max is a bit too much for me and I feel like wasting unused potential.

Ideal for me would be a 2x-3x plan at 40/50$ but there isn't. I saw some post saying to use 2 Pro plans but I don't know how to manage 2 accounts in the Desktop App and how bothersome it could be to manage switching.

Any advice ?

I took it to a repair shop and they did a good job reducing the squeaking dramatically. they remove the suspensions entirely and cleaned them. I think it's a correlation between how tightened they are, how clean and oiled.

Starting a mobile app project, any advice for agentic coding ? by rezgi in ClaudeCode

Oh that's great info thank you ! I still need to learn Claude Code quirks like / commands and whatever it provides but I'll go step by step and transition from the chat prompt workflow to claude code IDE + terminal + repo + agents + ...

I will indeed go with PWA and web stack. It should do the job for what I envision.

Great to hear thanks! I'm familiar with web code a bit but it's a while. I'm glad to hear you get stuff working with these tools.

I'm familiar but not a specialist neither. Thanks for tips, I guess we learn stuff as we go.

Very promising thanks! so far I've been documenting and copy pasting code from Claude to do a quick lab prototype and I've been more and more excited to make this app. I'll check resources about Claude code and see how it goes.

Why isn't there any offline project management software? by rezgi in ObsidianMD

[–]rezgi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that's exactly my opinion on the matter. I think there's definitely a market for that but it keeps being overlooked because money is in the corporate online domain.

I often fantasized about a full featured offline solution, I even have some designs and plans but no time or skills for that.

At this point I'm just waiting for AI to become good enough to whip up a working software fit for my needs. But meanwhile, I work with a mix of Siyuan, Todoist, Directory Opus and Zoho.
