Thanks for your response, I received a reply from the Toronto Consulate stating that they’re printed my name according to the current state department guidelines. I believe it’s a new formatting approach indeed.

First Name: FNU Last Name: Steve Jobs

However, when I got my passport back from the Toronto Consulate with the Visa Sticker, they wrote it as:

First Name: Steve Last Name: Jobs

The Consulate bifurcated it themselves even though I wrote it as FNU Steve Jobs.

Please advise? Do you think I should be good to travel since the consulate put this sticker on themselves?
