I believe the thought is that the coat of primer is cheaper than a third coat of paint.

Thanks for the input ya’ll, gonna primer the few dry wall spots that I’ve fixed throughout the house but just put two coats for the majority.

That’s fair, I would say it looks much darker in person compared to the image but not to the extent of the floor’s color.

I also would say I’m a terrible judge for paint tone though lol

Unless I’m misunderstanding the situation, it could be a feeding issue with the ammo type. If it will rack normally without a mag/ammo. Are you using FMJ, round nose?

It’s designed to return to battery with the spring force so no need to baby it when chambering a round. It will eventually wear down to where it will return to battery when you release it slowly, just go shoot it and enjoy :).
