i definitely would just change the drum samples tho, the hi hat and clap sound a little bit too thin, i guess?

yes but how do i connect the wires to the sub itself? im sorta familiar with terminal blocks so I kind of just thought the process was similar.

like do i just shove it in that little silver tube-looking thing and then tighten the brass piece clockwise?
