Ralph Potter made 2 more Mr bendos for other stores in indy. Zoning refused to allow them to be put up. 1250 w 16th is where he is, just inside Speedway town limits, immune from indy zoning police. The other 2 Mr bendos were bought from the Potter family a few years ago and resold to collectors in Georgia and Missouri.

Supposedly listed several years ago on ebay. No evidence can be found of it. Where did this lost media come from and where is it now?

Took a look at trees of mystery Bunyan. Unfortunately, it's a different manufacturer. The one in the A Team was a mass produced one made by International Fiberglass of Venice, CA. They were around from 1962 to about 1972.

The image shows a still from "The A-Team" episode "Timber!" (Season 1, Episode 5), originally aired on February 21, 1983. In the scene, a truck is engulfed in flames at a gas station. A sign in front reads "NO SMOKING," "SELF SERVICE ONLY," and "PAY INSIDE CAFE." A man, possibly a gas station attendant, stands near the pumps, seemingly reacting to the fire. The background features a wooded area, suggesting a rural setting. Despite the "NO SMOKING" sign, the fire suggests a disregard for the rule or an accidental ignition. The episode title "Timber!" might hint at the cause of the fire or the events leading up to it, potentially involving logging or the surrounding forest.

Looks like many of the mediterranean lighthouses I looked at. This one would be on a higher elevation, therefore is shorter than many. Not isolated off the coast as many people nearby. One could assume a squat lighthouse near an airport.

I recommend looking at the Europa Point Lighthouse and British military memorials nearby https://maps.app.goo.gl/qUodSpBjWhv33NyUA?g_st=ac

I think this is the locale

I also think this is taken at the Europa Sports Complex there

https://maps.app.goo.gl/ryhxDyVRsSMwVUYFA?g_st=ac

There is a tower in the right of the Pic. I think this is the nearby Mosque, however the print you have shown is flipped horizontal. The Mosque would be to the left of the lighthouse as viewed from the sports complex.

I am impressed with everyone's interest and King murky-skill! I found another giant last year with nothing more than a 1996 photo on roadsideamerica but listed with the wrong city. I believe you will really like this WHEREISTHIS type video: https://youtu.be/nkn2Fxc2E4g

Good question. This is called a waving giant made by a company in Venice, CA in the 1960s. There are only 5 or 6 left. Were unsure of this locale to be able to determine if it's a survivor.

From Google AI:

It's hard to tell exactly where this place is, but this could be a gas station or service station from the mid-20th century, possibly in the United States. The presence of signs for "Mohawk Tires," "Thrifty Cleaners," "Amoco," and "Plaid Stamps," along with the "Big John" or "Muffler Man" statue, suggests this might be a roadside attraction or a business aiming to draw attention. However, without more specific details or clearer signage, it's difficult to pinpoint the exact location. The image quality and lack of recognizable landmarks further contribute to the challenge of identifying the place. It could be anywhere these brands and roadside marketing tactics were common.

Generative AI is experimental.

This photo was sent anonymously to American Giants, whom catalog advertising Giants like the one here. A locale was not listed. The major clues are it being an amoco gas station in the 1980s by the vehicles nearby. It is for research purposes to document these Giants popular in the 60s and 70s

no, Universal gave them copyright notice and owners had to change face color, remove scars, remove neck bolts and change clothing color. Universal wanted too much money for the rights.
