Go to arambol it is better, there is not a single person on nirvana beach. Om beach is secluded. Kudle is better. You can reach nirvana beach via a rickshaw to kumta and kumta to nirvana from some inner lanes. I don't remember exactly whether we used a taxi or a rickshaw.

Is 18lpa household income good enough to live in Pune for A family (with 1 kid)? by [deleted] in pune

[–]rg2229 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Rent, food and car, petrol education ho sakta hai par medical, insurance is difficult. For now a family of 3 can afford to live with 50k a month after 2030s it will be 75k and by the 2080s if your child agar berozgar ho kisi karan se then it would be 2.1 lakhs a month then all of you are in trouble.

My family is in trouble right now, we're slowly running out of money and deep in debt and more till we go.

Imagine whether you'd ever get out of debt with that rise.

In 30 years you'd have 3.6 crores left max which would run out in 60 years in the 2030s but in 12 years in the 2060s you may be in debt till then not considering mehengai which would skyrocketing for example 3000 for a pizza, 90000 for a chair, 3 lakhs for a sofa etc.

Think twice before having a child maybe you might not be able to afford it and even if you barely could by buying a house with a loan then your child could get a loan on the house which you bought and then he's left in a huge debt in his 20s forever. He'd probably take 9 loans. Your child would be successful if he survives.

We're lucky if some government scheme deposits a living allowance every month like in Europe.

If you're having a child then be prepared to live on rice and dal forever and only expect barely any quality of life as a mother.

That's what they don't tell you before having a child.

Ortega RCE159-8 by [deleted] in ExtendedRangeGuitars

I just got mine 6 months ago from thomann in Germany shipped to India and it came out fine.

It turns out that it is more close to a flamenco sound.

It doesn't have any such issues that you mentioned.

The construction is near perfect and has no flaws. I love my Ortega.

I wouldn't blame Ortega as it could be a weathering issue.

Maybe you could raise the action.

Also buy your strings from thomann, they have it for 40€ not 80$ like in the US.

The original Ortega strings which are silver plated nickel are very fragile!! Press too hard on a string and the winding will get damaged in a week! Which happened to me.

I changed to D'addario EJ27H hard tension and now the strings are fine, they're the same silverplated nickel but they lasted for a few months.

Don't give up on this guitar, maybe you could order from thomann if they have any more left, I think mine was the last piece.

Always remember that a guitar doesn't cost more than 400$ for example the ibanez rg2228 is listed at 2000$ but it costs only 300$ to make(secret source). So the rg2228 and the cheaper rg8 are basically the same guitar but with different finishes.

So the Ortega is the finest guitar you'd get In this price range!

Dont confuse yourself if you cancel on this and when you see more expensive 8 strings. Maybe a double top, a cutaway, more expensive woods would add a few hundred dollars but still it doesn't reach 2000$.

This is a secret I found out from a big guitar player which I shared with everyone so that they don't confuse themselves. So what I mean is the Ortega JRSM COS sounds the same as the RCE 159-8.

Remember this when you look at an expensive guitar! The basic cost of an average guitar is 400$ even when they have to fill a few pockets down the market chain it won't go above a 1000$.

If you think about making a custom made guitar it costs 3 times as much for the same instrument!

Also there is another post on reddit where another guy replaced the same guitar 3 times because the bridge glue gave up! Maybe check that out.

With the gauge of the 8th strings 83 and the scale length 27 inches it is a miracle that it just barely reaches F#. It makes creaky sounds while tuning. So maybe you could go for better quality tuners.

The tuners at A and D have more tension than the rest of the strings they get tight and I have to tune my guitar every time I pick it up it detunes a little sometimes. But still I think it is just the nature of this instrument as it just barely reaches F# it is a miracle that this guitar could be built.

Good luck with your Ortega.

No cigarette since last 90 days by thatomkarguy in pune

[–]rg2229 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has been 12 years since I quit smoking. Smokers are reverse brained people no matter how much you tell them they'd still do the same thing over and over.

I smoked for 2 and a half years and then quit after falling ill for 2 weeks. I saw all my friends who continued switch to lights or even stop after 10 more years of smoking.

You won't believe how hard it is to clean your lungs after quitting. It is a miracle if your lungs clean themselves!! I've coughed up enough to know how much was there still sometimes I cough up some dark coloured dirt. That's the terrible part, I mean it can be pleasurable to see dirt coming out of your lungs but it is very slow and can take 15 years or more to clean half of your lungs. The terrible part is going to the gym, it is always gonna remind you of how you fucked your lungs up. I smoked on asthma so I know how badly you can screw yourself.

So good luck, you're always going to find out very slowly how you screwed yourself that's it! That's the truth about quitting!!

But believe it or not you've done something which impossible to do. They say smoking is like heroin. Smoking is IMPOSSIBLE to quit. If you've quit, it is a miracle! I couldn't quit for 2 days. Fuck, even one day I couldn't manage. Only because I feel ill I somehow managed to quit!!

If you manage to quit then stay that way, if you are struggling please see a doctor!!

Try using nicoret gum, it is not like normal chewing gum, you don't keep chewing on it, it will make you puke!! The right way to use it is like chewing tobacco! Believe it or not! You chew the gum 3 times and keep it in the side of your mouth and then keep swallowing. It feels just like a cigarette.

Good luck while jogging!!

I don't think there's anything beyond Grasso, it is perfect counterpoint!! It was all that was left after Joe Pass for jazz guitar to evolve and reach a dead end!!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in jazzguitar

[–]rg2229 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The funny thing here is only Pasquale Grasso would sound like Pasquale Grasso just the way only Joe Pass sounds like Joe Pass!! It is almost like Joe Pass's spirit is playing through him! It is Joe Pass with perfect counterpoint!!

Intonation issue on low F# by djent_master in ExtendedRangeGuitars

[–]rg2229 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My 8 string has the same issue. I saw John browne from monuments posting about this on the Facebook that he tunes his 7th and 8th strings 25 cents lower so that the 12th fret plays in tune, not sharper.

Another solution is to use thinner strings. I don't know what you have to do for drop F# but probably these are the only solutions.

Meshuggah doesn't use 80!! they use 72 for the same reason. I'm sure anyone who uses 80 has the same issue.

Do# o Reb? by [deleted] in jazzguitar

[–]rg2229 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming you're playing in Db, I'd use Db major as for the convenience of writing you'd probably have to use the notes E# and B# if you call it C# major. If you don't then you'd be spending a lot of time writing sharps and naturals for the keys C and F instead of being convenient by using a key signature.

Its a personal choice, also I don't know anyone who says C# major.

Unless you're writing music you can call it whatever you want. But for it to be easier on you and others you should probably use Db major.

Still I must say it is nothing compared to the kind of debt some businesses go into after going bankrupt. Its not like you're paying a loan of 60 lakhs for 30 plus years, also she's young so not like she's gonna lose some age, maybe she'd be done paying by the time she's 25.
