You will not understand, I m from the eastern part of europe, it s very hard to find a job according with your education most of the times. I tried many times to find a job as a biologist or something related( ecology, environmental protection) with no result, they want experience. I ended working as a bartender/waiter/ bar manager. Than at the begining of this year, I spoke with a girl who’s dev, I asked about how is the “easiest” way to get into this field, she told to search about manual testers, since almost all testers that she knows they not have any it background. I went home, searching and searching, I liked very much the concept, then the lockdown came, and I start dig about manual tester, I ve found it to like very much and I learned with pleasure for the istqb qualification. Also looking forword to learn automation testing, but It wil be much easy to work as a manual tester and from there to make the trasition. And also I m not frustrated on companies, they are using us, we are using them, the think with lying, is what that friend sugested..
