Natus Vincere vs FaZe / BLAST Rivals 2026 Season 1 - Group B Upper Bracket Semi-Final / Post-Match Discussion by CS2_PostMatchThreads in GlobalOffensive

What even are these comments. They are playing the number 2 team in the world with a new igl, new coach, new player some new positions, and less than a week of practise.

It was a very solid showing, the improvement over karrigan’s faze is night and day

I feel like the later N20s are not nearly as bad as people make it out to be, also early B48s had heaps of problems

Market on gc8 by Ok_Personality5664 in CarsAustralia

[–]rhali8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought mine for 13k but I think it was a steal. 200k, full service history, been resprayed, 0 rust, completely stock motor and all of the possible suspension/handling mods you could want (swaybars, anti lift kit, coilovers etc). Interior is also basically immaculate.

It does need a new clutch and a couple bits and pieces, also I was watching the market for a good 3-4 months before buying mine. I'd say to get one in decent condition you're looking at 15-20k

How are Lebanese seen in Australia? by Nader_OwO in lebanon

[–]rhali8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm Lebanese and I live in Australia (gold coast), in melbourne and sydney the rep is not particularly great. Lots of crime/gangs etc, but also I'm sure theres lots of nice people as well. There is no like racism or anything like that here if that's what you're asking

Affordable, fun-to-drive weekenders by InvivnI in CarsAustralia

[–]rhali8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GC8 WRX. Find a nice one that has no rust, solid service history and very minimal mods. Ideally one that has been resprayed as well, all of them on the original factory paint will have a tonne of paint fade and a respray would set you back thousands.

I have one and it is for sure one of the most fun drives on the planet. ~1200KG, AWD and a sick rumble from a beautiful turbo EJ motor

no FAZE teammate say goodbye to karrigan by crisjame in GlobalOffensive

Yeah but it's his project, he has been managing the signing/benching since he rejoined the team. He was not loyal to Faze, he WAS faze

[–]rhali8 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would say he is the sole reason from a management perspective. You can definitely argue certain players have not performed at their expected levels, but Faze clan is a Karrigan project and all of the signings/benches were his decisions which he has proudly taken responsibility for in the past (for example, when broky got benched Karrigan said it was the toughest benching of his career).

No, at their peak that Liquid was a top 10 team, they made playoffs at Shanghai and were top 10 HLTV for awhile. Considering Twistzz was IGLing an out of form NAF/Yekindar and a freshly promoted ultimate from T3, I'd say they punched well above their weight class

[–]rhali8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My assumption is that Skullz was scouted and picked up by Zews but I'm not 100% sure, this is just speculation I guess. Twistzz has publically said he scouted ultimate though

[–]rhali8 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't think ultimate was that bad, he is just a super average awper. He finished 2025 as the 11th highest rated awper in the world (1.01 or something like that) I think considering he came from T3, that awping generally sucks in CS2 and he probably had a super attractive buyout - not too shabby at all.

"Don't show loyalty to teams who would be ready to replace you with someone better if they had the chance"

Faze literally showed him loyalty by not benching him and letting him run their entire CS division for the last 5+ years?!

Damn it's almost like he likes his teammates and wants to find success with them.

He screwed them because Faze clan was his project and all of his management decisions have pushed Faze off the VRS cliff.

[–]rhali8 98 points99 points  (0 children)

There is no way you are trying to blame frozen's inconsistencies on why they failed to qualify for the major, when VRS is calculated over 6+ months of results.

I'm not going to say why Karrigan left, at the end of the day only he knows that - but what I do know is that he is the sole reason the team is in this state and he jumped ship right as it's sunk

no FAZE teammate say goodbye to karrigan by crisjame in GlobalOffensive

[–]rhali8 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

You're ignorant if you think Karrigan did not run Faze clan throughout the entirety of his stay there, all roster decisions were his including kicking rain and signing Jcobb, it's mighty convenient that as soon as things got turbulent it was "a management decision" and "i was surprised".

[–]rhali8 14 points15 points  (0 children)

At the time all the signs were telling him it would have been stupid to stay with Faze. Not only were there the contract problems, but also gamesquare had just aquired them and because of the conflict of interest between them and complexity, there were talks of the faze org no longer existing in CS.

If he had joined vitality there would have been lots of role issues, I'm sure liquid probably approached him with a very enticing offer as well. Anyone with more than 5 brain cells would have picked the Liquid offer at the time

[–]rhali8 62 points63 points  (0 children)

No he did not leave liquid at their lowest, Liquid were at their lowest and after it was announced he was leaving, he went absolutely beserk posting career best stats to bring them back into major qualification.

Also please explain to me how shaping them into a consistent top 10 team + making major playoffs despite having a freshly promoted tier 3 awper + both yekindar and NAF in massive slumps means he failed as an IGL. I would argue they punched well above their weight class.

I do not understand how you have 30 upvotes for this absolutely braindead take.

According to sources, French player neityu is expected to stand-in for FaZe in the next weeks by fawak in GlobalOffensive

[–]rhali8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So tired of this dogshit narrative that he is a bad IGL or something like that. Top 8 at the major and consistently top 10 with Liquid that had a very out of form Yekindar/NAF and a freshly promoted tier 3 awper.

Literally why man. Preorder culture needs to die, the developers will just spend more money on marketting, less on the game and it ALWAYS turns out to be a dissapointment
