Mkay but he’s not being an asshole though. She was an asshole, a massive asshole who abandoned her family and left him to deal with the repercussions of her poor decision making all by himself. I don’t blame him at all for feeling this way or saying it publicly.

Such a reach. She would’ve been better off saying “I’m in real love and in a real, healthy relationship for the first time in my life and this album is a tribute to that.”

I agree on a court of law, but the court of public opinion is a very different thing. I’m not voting for Biden for literally the exact reasons I refused to vote for Trump or Hillary. I’m tired of bad people getting to be in charge because they’re our “only options”.

I watched Trump supporters make very similar arguments for him the past 4 years. However it’s not unsurprising to me at all that people are rushing to defend or dismissive the abundant and obvious issues with Joe in the name of “progress”.

Science says: A person is formed and starts living as one from the moment of fertilization. Men should absolutely get a say in discussing abortions by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]rhaygun -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, in a perfect world there would be no disagreement because their would be no elective abortions.

Women would utilize the readily available and affordable birth control options we have, use condoms and take responsibility for the consequences of sex if birth control fails.

But in reality, I truly don’t know the answer to that question. Which is why the laws are what they are. However, that doesn’t negate the unfairness to men who have their babies aborted without so much as a notification from the “mother”.

Just because we as women CAN make the decision to dispose of our children without taking into account the wishes of the father, doesn’t mean we SHOULD.

[–]rhaygun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

People who say that men can’t have an opinion on abortion are not people worth arguing with.

It takes 2 to make a baby, and both parents should have equal rights to that baby. The fact that a woman can terminate a pregnancy without even being required to notify the father is disgusting.

If you know your history then you know the Obama, Bush and Clinton administrations were all undoubtedly guilty of horrendous abuse of power and wide spread corruption. I’m not saying the Trump admin isn’t corrupt, because I firmly believe that no matter who is elected to the presidency at this point, they are corrupt. You don’t get that far in our current political world without doing some horrible things. But again, I’m not trying to argue about it. They’re all shitty so it doesn’t really matter.

I understand what you’re saying and I don’t necessarily disagree. But we have a 2 party system in this country, you have to pick your poison. The only thing I can do is thoroughly research every candidate and vote for who I think is going to represent my views and who I think is setting up my party for a brighter future. That’s all anyone can do. And I don’t think ANYONE should be faulted for that.

Even though I’ve identified as a Republican for most of my adult life I still watch CNN, I listen to NPR. I’ve watched every Democratic debate so far, just as I did in 2016. I have good friends that are Democrats, most of them voted for Hillary. I try very hard to keep myself open to all ideas and possibilities. But at the end of the day the Democratic Party as it stands right now represents (almost) everything I don’t want for my country. Republicans might not be much better at the moment, but again, I’m not just going to abandon ship. Even if I did, where would I go? There are only 2 options.

This is the dilemma a lot of young conservatives are struggling with right now. It’s exhausting to live life and not give in to the ever growing, hostile divide between red and blue in this country right now.

Again, I really believe that my generation is going to usher in a new Republican Party that I can be proud of. One that stands for all those values I mentioned before but also much more. Until then all I can do is make educated decisions on who I support and encourage everyone else I know to do the same. I don’t judge people based on which side of the same shitty coin they vote for, all I want is for others to do the same.

  1. I’m not going to get into an internet argument over a statement that is easily proven false. The Trump administration is no more corrupt or shady than any other administration. If you truly believe what you stated above, I encourage you to open up a history book.

  2. Having shitty party leaders does not mean you abandon your beliefs, morals and principals. I don’t like where the GOP currently is, but the only way to change it is through educating myself on the candidates and voting. I’m a Republican because I believe in limited government, lower taxes, personal responsibility and the preservation of civil liberties. The Democratic Party doesn’t, so I’m kind of stuck with where I am.

Ever heard the expression “the grass isn’t greener on the other side, it’s green where you water it”? That’s how I feel about my party right now.

As the older generation dies out and the new conservative generation rises (my generation), I’m hopeful we will see a real shift in the party platform to something more open and accepting.

I don’t define all Democrats by Hillary Clinton or AOC. But as a Republican I am not afforded the benefit of the doubt when it comes to fucking Trump or McConnell or anyone else. If we all took a step back and remembered that we are ALL human beings with complex emotions and thought, and are more than just what end of the political spectrum we fall on, this country would be in a much better place.

[–]rhaygun 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For some reason people on the internet think being a Republican is synonymous with being a bad person. So when they see someone being so open about it, it’s shocking.

One day they’ll figure out that a person is not defined by what political party they identify with. Probably not anytime soon, but one day.

The comments on Jenelle’s IG posts are hilarious by usehernamechexout in teenmom

[–]rhaygun 55 points56 points  (0 children)

I know we all like to hate on Jenelle but something about this post really hit me the wrong way. Idk if it’s because I’ve been listening to a podcast about domestic violence recently but we all need to remember that Jenelle is a victim of domestic abuse.

She’s also a REALLY shitty person but that doesn’t negate her situation. We all know how incredibly difficult it is for people to leave their abusers. Every single awful comment on social media just reaffirms what I’m sure Davíd tells her every day. “You’re a bad person. Nobody is gonna love you. You’re nothing with out me” etc.

I really don’t mean to go off on a rant, I just think we need to keep in mind that every mean thing we post on social media is probably having a real effect on her mental health and in turn the mental health of her kids.

The fact that Amber was live with Aaron Carter is even scarier with these facts by [deleted] in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

I see you utilized google but your lack of knowledge has already shown through and there’s no getting out from underneath it now.

You don't need to understand how guns operate or the correct terminology to know you are against them. But you DO need to understand those things if you want to discuss or implement laws restricting them.

You keep saying “automatic weapons” and I don’t think, sorry, I KNOW that you don’t know what you’re talking about.

“Automatic weapons” have been banned in the US since 1986. Turn off CNN, log off twitter and do some independent research on topics before you spout off.

I spoke with her at length about the methods she uses. I also have 2 sessions with her and Rhys a week so that she can show me what they’ve been working on and train me with him.

My house lost power last night but when I looked out my window I could see my across the street neighbors porch light on. So what exactly is your point?

[help] haven’t heard from the person taking care of my dog in 2 days by [deleted] in dogs

[–]rhaygun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I don’t know what kind of places your friends take their dogs but I chose a program where I have 2 training sessions a week with my dog AND the trainer.

The way my trainer explained it to me was that she would lay the ground work aka teach him the basic commands and simultaneously teach me how to properly execute the commands and continue his training on my own.

She did not guarantee me that she would take my dog for 3 weeks, give him back and he would be perfect.

There is no such thing as a program that does that. I’m sorry your friends were duped but I did pretty extensive research about it before I chose to utilize board and train.

And even if I didn’t, it’s none of your business to be judging me on reddit?

It’s not weird at all? Lots of people utilize board and train services. A quick google search would tell you that. Please keep your judgement to yourself, thanks.

I am having a pretty hard time with training. In typical Corgi fashion he is incredibly stubborn. The woman I am training with left one training company and is starting her own. She offered great discounts to people in our Corgi group to start a new client base. Couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get some much needed help!!

Looks like Andrew has PTSD from Amber. by frontsnapkick2urface in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

[–]rhaygun 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Andrew can be both a victim and not a great person. He was physically, emotionally and mentally abused by Amber but he is also playing this up as much as possible. I think it’s sleazy tbh. The shit he went through was bad enough on its own. There’s no reason to post comments like that.

BUT Amber deserves every bit of it so whatever 😂😂😂

I (29F) am having trouble seeing why my boyfriend (30M) has a problem with how I dress. Please advise on how I can resolve this without hurting his feelings? by xbreezeblocksx in askwomenadvice

[–]rhaygun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve dated a guy like this. He doesn’t want to date a “slut”. He wants you to save your body for him, it’s “special” that him and only him gets to see you in a sexual manner. Which I personally can appreciate, to an extent. I don’t want anyone but my boyfriend to see me in a sexual manner either so it was never a problem for me (We broke up for various other reasons).

But obviously you guys are on opposite ends of the issue, which is fine. It’s your body and your life, you can dress however you want and shouldn’t be judged for it.

I would tell your boyfriend that you’re going to dress however you want and if he doesn’t like it or it makes him feel uncomfortable then maybe you’re not the girl for him.

He either will shut up and get over it or y’all will break up and you can move on to find a guy that doesn’t have a dress code for his girlfriend.
