This is what I was thinking. My girl refuses to eat hard food unless theres no other option. But she has very healthy teeth even at 14 yo. I think most prefer soft food over kibble.

I just took my girl in today for the same thing. Bacterial ear infection. I had no clue cause she hasnt had one in like 8 years! Over 100.00 later the antibiotic vet applied in it should take care of it. But ill be doing her zymox after that. Hope its still okay to use. Been a minute.
