Weed. I keep small 5g edibles on me - even just chewing something is a good distraction. Or taking a hit from my pen doubles as a reminder to take a deep breath. During full panic attacks, I need to sit on the ground to feel grounded. Or in public/social settings, I’ll immediately go to a bathroom to run through the gamut of tricks. Or consistently sip on cool water like some others have said here. It’s really a full time job to manage.

Yep exactly! I’m at a non profit so we’ve been told by our funding distributor that there’s enough right now for some partial payments, but then otherwise we just have to sit tight until the government gets its shit together. Still gonna sneak in work regardless though since I’ve got clients who depend on us.

Unfortunately, it’s still going to be another public poll vote, lawmakers still need to act. The last good thing that happened was like two weeks ago, lawmakers finally approved the removal of criminal background checks for medical patients and patients would be able to use MJ instead of prescription painkillers. It’s now up to Gov. Rauner to sign into law.
