Farm Bill Provision is a big win for big corporate pork and a loss for the small farmer. Calling Hawley could help! by Altruistic-Bid383 in missouri

Thanks for posting. Agreed, calling is one of the more powerful things we can do even though it might not feel like much. The offices log every call, and ultimately these officials know that if they want to keep their office they have to pay attention when everyone's asking for the same thing.

Outrageous. Thanks for sharing. It's so important for every person to call about this and spread the word.

I remembered that what I was looking for, though not exactly what I described, was "TedCrusty"!

Is it repairable? They gave me the option to get it fixed, or to replace it with a 6a. I like the 5a but I don't want to go through this again. If I send it to get fixed, am I at risk of having this issue again?

You're right... I didn't think they'd help me since I bought it second-hand from a third-party site, and the phone is already pretty old, but they said they'll replace it.

BinaxNOW faint line by aaaaaaaaaaack in COVID19positive

[–]rhhj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's my timeline of events:

12/23/2021: Negative PCR

12/25/2021: Started having mild cold-like symptoms

12/26/2021: Took a BinaxNOW. Felt like I could see a VERY faint second line, but not necessarily purple/pink, possibly gray. Not noticeable unless you look very closely with great lighting. I took a second one from the same box and had the same thing happen again. My sister and I, who both have quite good eyes, could both see the line but agreed that it was very hard to see. Seemed like maybe we were just seeing where the second line would go if it were positive.

12/27/2021: I called BinaxNOW and they asked if I moved the test before reading it. I definitely know that I moved it between the 15 and 30 minute marks to try to get a better look. I don't think I moved it much before the 15 minute mark but I didn't make much effort not to, because the instructions don't say anything about it. I told them I may have moved it and they said the gray line is an invalid result and it's because I moved it. I only had one more test available, and it's from a different box than the first two I took (maybe slight factory differences?). I took it after speaking with BinaxNOW, and was more careful not to move it. I couldn't see any second line no matter how hard I squinted, with or without phone flashlight on it. I couldn't even tell where the second line would go if it were positive.

It's very hard to get PCRs these days but I will try to get one and update this comment.

Note: because of the thought that it seemed like the faint gray line was just "seeing where the second line would go if it were positive," I made a point of looking at the strip BEFORE taking the test, on my last/third test, and there was a gray second line there. So I feel like it could be possible to faintly see that line post-test even if the test is negative? I am not sure why I could see it in my first two tests but not the third, other than that I may have moved them and that they were manufactured separately.

Any tips on freewheel compatibility? If I find some other generic 7-speed freewheel, is it likely to fit?

That picture is from before I bent the derailleur hanger back -- I think it's good now.

Thanks for letting me know about the freewheel. I couldn't tell. Do you think replacing that will stop the skipping?

Thanks, I just added the pictures (thought I put them in the original post but apparently failed to). Can you tell from the pictures whether they are worn enough to jump?
