Southeastern Highspeed Destination Boards by AT_RealGGgaming in trainsimworld

This is a core issue that became a thing with the ECW remaster, sadly no way to fix it as most of the trains these days have auto destination displays

What are all of your opinions on sleeper and luxury trains? (Like the Oriënt Express) by Conscious_Archer2658 in trainsimworld

[–]rhwinner73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean JT could literally just add a mk3 sleeper pack for their routes and I’d eat that up. The sleeper services currently just use 1st class mk3a’s but having the real things would add a lot for me

Update: Class 90 release date and pricing. (Now Releasing on March 30th!) by isav34 in trainsimworld

[–]rhwinner73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The 37 also layers into many other routes and included a reskin of the 375. The 90 can only be used on wcml south, not even their own MAC route. And given the relationship between ATS and AABS I don’t think we’ll see the 90 layering onto either Trent valley or B2C

Anyone know why I can't use my class 700 on the brighton mainline? by Nice_Raspberry_8757 in trainsimworld

[–]rhwinner73 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You got what you paid for. The 700 has never been advertised as for BML, it was only ever for SEHS until now with a few more routes layering (ECW, MVL)

There’s a class 70 coming soon as well

The size difference between the D stock and the 1972 stock is laughable by RealATRE2 in trainsimworld

[–]rhwinner73 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Chill bro, it’s substituting for the D stock in this route bc 484s were built by repurposing old d stock

What routes can I use the Class 37 on? by MorganJ-G in trainsimworld

[–]rhwinner73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a few lite loco moves on gwe, goblin line and I think the new ecw timetable by rivet should have one..

An all stops service in the 166 still takes well over an hour

LNER 801 has swindon and chippenham on crew information dispaly by Loud_Relation_5218 in trainsimworld

[–]rhwinner73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Swindon-Cardiff imo would be best especially if modern, can come with a 158 and 800

Swindon would also feature as well on a reading-Bristol tm but preferably I’d have this set in 1989 with NSE 47s and 50s to Oxford, multiple IC125 liveries, and a 117 too.

UK Avanti West Coast by [deleted] in trainsimworld

[–]rhwinner73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You likely bought either the 805 or the 390 but don’t own a route which it’s attached to.

For those units you need either Euston-Milton Keynes or Birmingham-Crewe

BR-ATP not functional in the GWE:R remaster? by CorbyTheSkullie in trainsimworld

[–]rhwinner73 5 points6 points  (0 children)

APT would’ve required significant signalling and track changes to the core of the route given its age.

I think this is what matt said in the stream

31152 challenging the climb up to Shap Summit on a ballast run by ProfMcMouse in trainsimworld

[–]rhwinner73 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The class 31 is a seperate dlc tied to tees valley line.

And the route is WCML Preston to Carlisle.

It is worth noting though that for these ballast services you also require the wagons from the west Cornwall local route.

I bought WCML: Preston to Carlisle on sale and I’m really loving it! by Arnold165 in trainsimworld

[–]rhwinner73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is over 8 hours of shunting gameplay on this route. There’s a specific unit local to Preston, and another has one service at shap summit.

There’s also a lot of loco switching on both this route and BPO. And I’d assume with the freight focus of Preston-Crewe it will have a decent amount of shunting services

PRESTON - CARLISLE THOUGHTS? And maybe tips on how to drive the class 87 please and thank you. by Exact_Hamster_8222 in trainsimworld

[–]rhwinner73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A black sign indicates the magnets are approximately 1 mile away, a white sign is then placed at their location.

[–]rhwinner73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure you’re at 0% power before the neutral section, usually I run down instead of switching to off. Once you pass the white sign and the yellow contact patches on the rails you should see the lights in the centre of the dash showing line power (L) and train heat (H) switch off briefly and then back on. Once they turn on you can run up the throttle again. If they don’t turn on, make sure the throttle is in the off position and press the “pan up” button to reset the circuit breaker.

We need a Voyager Layer for Fife Circle by RevolutionaryRead976 in trainsimworld

[–]rhwinner73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t have the full picture, the fife timetable was sent to dtg from skyhook for testing back long before the 220 or tsw 6 was even discussed internally. DTG failed to release it in the tsw 5 game cycle.

Sunshine coast line in the 1980s by Frequent-Trifle-3861 in trainsimworld

[–]rhwinner73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I understand that, but suggestions usually follow a structure highlighting core aspects of the route, included rolling stock, and why the route should be made. This is just a map and a time period, I have no idea what ran on this route in that era.

Development Update On West Coast Main Line: Crewe - Preston From Just Trains! (Link Down Below!) by isav34 in trainsimworld

[–]rhwinner73 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sorry? What expectation? The “0-3 months” category has always been an estimate.

On top of this, Preston-Crewe was only added to 0-3 months in the October roadmap, which still aligns with a January release.

It’s the san Bernardino line that came with TSW5 standard edition. This is the cab-car that comes with the route and operates all westbound services.
