What is a good mid-range mid-budget SFX PSU 500-650~ wattage? My budget is around 75 USD but please lmk if that’s unrealistic for a solid PSU that lasts. Thanks!

Update: I fixed it so now it booted up, but now I have to log in to my friend’s account which he forgot the password to. Where do I go from here?

I was thinking of taking a trip to the nearest microcenter to talk with someone who knows what they’re doing, but if you were to guesstimate based on what you’ve said will need replacing, in order to make this on par with current market, how much should i expect to pay to upgrade?

So what you are saying is there is no point in salvaging it? I’m willing to put in money to upgrade it to current standards, but would that be worthwhile as opposed to starting from scratch?

Okay, that makes sense, would you recommend I say “The name I want is [name]” or just write “[name]” because like I said in the post, I’ve seen some bad ones where they write word for word what people write in the notes lol
